Prior to joining Wand in 1990, Mr. Callard was a General Partner, Managing Director and Director of Alex Brown & Sons. He also served previously as Chairman of Hotel Investors Corporation.

Prior to Alex Brown, Mr. Callard was a Vice President of J.P. Morgan/Morgan Guaranty Trust, with interruptions in his career for: military service; graduate school; and, service as Deputy Executive Director of the President's Commission on an All Volunteer Armed Force.

At Morgan, Mr. Callard was a Trust & Investment Officer, engaged in private placements, common stock selection, real estate financing and portfolio management. Later, Mr. Callard was a Vice President in Morgan’s Financial Services Department where he worked on private placements and, with Mr. Schnitzer, on a variety of mergers and acquisitions assignments.

In addition to his Directorships of Wand portfolio companies, Mr. Callard Chairman of Union Theological Seminary.

Mr. Callard graduated from Princeton University and has a law degree from New York University School of Law.
